Ghost is loving his new family life.

Just thought I'd send you some pictures of Ghost in his new home, so that you can update your website.   He's already settled in and we're loving having him here!!!   Thank you again!!

Delphi
Delphi (previously known as Pringle) happily living the life of a house rabbit.

I adopted Pringle from you a few months ago and I thought I would send you a picture to see how well she's getting on. She's very settled and rather spoilt! She's now called Delphi and has the run of our flat 24/7. She is very greedy and knows that the fridge being opened means dinner time!

Eliza and two of our Guinea Pigs in their new home

Eliza was a difficult rabbit to rehome but  her new owner recently wrote to us to let us know how she and the guinea pigs they adopted are getting on.

Just an update on Eliza, and photo.  She has only bit me once, which isn't bad! However, she has strong jaws!!!  I've took to wearing 2 jackets now and 2 pairs of gloves when getting her out for her exercise.  Once she is out she is ok. Although she is getting better I think she is always going to be cage protective.  When I was giving her some of her treats last week, I opened the cage door and she actually pulled the bag out of my hand, and she then threw her food dish in the air.   She loves her runs in the garden.  Even our cat steers clear of her!  But we do love her.

(We're
sure readers will agree with us that Eliza has been very lucky to find such an understanding and patient new owner - Tameside Rabbit and Guinea Pig Rescue)

The 2 guinea pigs are great. They love nothing more than to hide in a huge pile of hay! They are really tame and I think they've even grown!

Louie  Louie  Louie

Louie in his new home

Just to let you know how our rescue rabbit is doing. We adopted Louie (the lilac rabbit) in March 2008 and he has really settled in. He’s had all his injections and also been neutered.

We have even extended and added a run to his hutch so he has plenty of room and when we are about he has the run of the garden. He has a lovely temperament and we could not wish for a nicer rabbit. Here are some photos.  He’s great….

Thank you.

Ann, Mike and family.

Maisie and Rufus - such good friends.

Hi

Thought you'd like to know how our two darling rescue rabbits are getting on. We adopted Rufus (loppy brown) in September, then Maisie (nethy magpie) more recently to keep him company. It took a little while for them to fully bond but now our little cuties are inseparable. Rufus loves attention and to lounge rug fashion in the lounge, whereas Maisie is always busy and prefers to climb on the furniture.

Thanks so much for letting us adopt our little friends they are an integral part of our family.

Mitzy and Peter
Mitzy and Peter (friends at last)

I bought Mitzy (aka Erica) from you in March as a partner for my 6 month old black lop eared rabbit called Peter. I had to introduce them VERY slowly as Peter saw our garden as his territory and didn’t want to share it! It took two long weeks of introducing them to each other – at first in runs next to each other and then face to face – which was when fur started to fly – literally! Each time they had words I had to pick them up and separate them, putting them back into their separate runs for a while before trying to introduce them again. To say this was a challenge was an understatement, I was worried about them hurting each other so could not let them out of my sight when they were together. Then after two weeks of patiently standing around in the garden with them waiting to see what was going to happen they suddenly decided that they would share a carrot – without fighting about it. I have been told that rabbits have a short memory and that even though they might not get on at the beginning if you keep introducing them slowly they will gradually adapt to each other and that is certainly what has happened in my case. Peter and Mitzy are now inseparable and live together in the outdoor run during the day and in their hutch at night, they both have lovely temperaments and make fantastic pets (for me – not my children!)

Bonnie with her new friend Clyde

Thank you so much for letting us adopt Bonnie (grey bunny, formerly Daley) who has now bonded with our original rescue bunny Clyde (white nose). They are living together quite happily but are also happy to be independent of each other - Bonnie likes to run around all day and Clyde relaxes. It's lovely to see them lounge around, run around and clean each other together.

Thanks again from two happy bunnies!

Borage making himself at home

Just to let you know that Easter, who is now called Borage, is really enjoying his new home.  He's a bit of a rascal and can be quite naughty, but has so much love to give and is a big softy deep down - he can sit for hours while you stroke his head or under his chin.

He has a special message for you:  Dear Elaine, thanks for taking such good care of me and finding me a great new home with lots of love and good food!  I love lying on the sofa and watching tv, and I even have my own rug to sit on in the kitchen while my new mum and dad cook dinner.  I get my own bag of bunny greens delivered from a local farm every week and I especially like celery tops, cucumber and cabbage.  I am very happy in my new home but miss you lots!

Best wishes and keep up the wonderful work.  I would love to come back in a couple of weeks and see if we can find a suitable mate to keep him company.

Face and Murdoch
Face and Murdoch in their new home

Please find attached some pictures of our adopted piggies as I promised. They have been christened Face (White) and Murdoch (fluffy) from The A Team!

Face is very friendly, but Murdoch still needs a bit more coaxing and they are both growing at an alarmingly rate and have a love of Brocolli and Sweetheart cabbage.

Many thanks

Johnny settling in with his new friend

Johnny's new owner recently sent us an update.

All is fantastic!  Both rabbits are now bonded (see how they did it in the photos) and living in their new playhouse, which has been converted to their needs and they have a very big 13 ft run. They both like lying in the sun next to each other and cuddling up at night.

Johnny would like to say a big thank you for everything you have done.

James Patch with his new friend Clover

Just a quick note to let you know how our re-homed rabbit is getting on.  We adopted James (we call him James Patch now) in May and after much thumping and humping (!) he has finally settled in to live with his new partner Clover.

He is still a little shy, but absolutely loves being groomed and stroked. His lion head mane is growing impressively!

He is up to date with his vaccinations and in good health.

The drier weather means he can make full use of the run and the tunnel.

We are really pleased to have him, and Clover is delighted to have a new friend.

Best Wishes

Judith and Lizzie

Maple and Honey

I just wanted to let you know how well I'm getting on with the two little Netherland Dwarf sisters which I rehomed at the end of May.  I have named them Honey and Maple and I absolutely love them to bits.  They get a couple of hours each day to run free in my back garden and you should see them hopping and skipping and jumping for joy - I'm pretty convinced that they must have been lambs in a previous life!

They have had their injections against myxomatosis and VHD and I am also giving them Lapizole which the vet recommended.  So you can be rest assured that they are being well looked after.

Pebbles and Lou

We're just writing to let you know that Pebbles and Loulou have settled in very well into their new home. They're having fun exploring every room in the house and jumping as high as they can.  I have attached a couple of photos of them chilling out for you to see

Madison and Maisie

Just wanted to let you know that Chic is doing well.  We've renamed her Maisy.

She's not quite ready to move in with Madison, who we adopted last year, because he keeps pestering her and she had to give him a telling off on Sunday.

Madison is smitten, he'll share anything with her.  Will keep you informed of their progress, I've attached a couple of photos of them both.

Boo

We adopted Boo about 6 weeks ago from you he is the White Lion head Rabbit.

Amy-Laura wanted to let you know that he is doing really well and he loves his new home.  He lives in the house with us.  He is very cheeky he loves to hide and play and has managed to win all our hearts.

We groom him every night, not sure Boo appreciates that but he lets us know when he’s had enough, and we are in the process of building him a rabbit run so when the warmer weather comes he can play in our garden and be safe.

Thanks for giving us so much pleasure, Boo is a Happy Bunny.

Clyde

Just to let you know that Clyde is turning into a real cutie! He's made fantastic progress over the last week. He now comes to us when we walk in the room he is in, but he isn't quite brave enough to venture out of the one room just yet!  He's popped his nose out of the door but hasn't been able to bring himself to go outside but he likes to sit and look out. I think he likes his cage and food too much to leave it!

He's great and we're so happy with him. I've attached a few pictures for you in his new home.

MARSHALL & CHICO

The owners of this pair of happy guinea pigs wrote to us recently:

Its been about a year since we adopted Chico and about 2 since we adopted Marshall.  They both enjoy each other's company and squeak very loudly in the morning for some vegetables.

Chico was very nervous at first but, since he has settled in, he has become very cheeky and playful.  Marshall loves to play with him in their run and both enjoy being stroked and held.  They live separately but love going into their run and playing together.

PIGGY & PANDA

We took Piggy and Panda from you in August and they are now very happy and healthy pair of guinea pigs.  We have attached a few pictures of them for you. Piggy is very active and likes to run off whereas Panda enjoys eating (clothes)!

Cheers Iain and Jo

THUMPER

Wow I can't believe it's nearly a year since I adopted Thumper (brown &white bunny) from you.  As promised (sorry its taken so long!) here's a photo of him with his new friend May.  They love each other to bits.

Best Wishes
Maria

TROOPER'S proud new family wrote to us recently:

As promised, an update on Trooper’s progress.

After what seemed like a very long wait we finally put Trooper and Pepsi together last weekend. They have now spent a week living happily together and enjoying one another’s company.

Trooper loves being out in the garden, racing back and forth whilst Pepsi relaxes. Thank you so much for introducing us to him and allowing us to adopt him. We’ve enclosed a few pictures, selecting the ones where he wasn’t just a blur!
